This year, the festival celebrates the 400th anniversary of the French Navy under the theme “Music and the Sea.” I am thrilled to be joined by Chouchane Siranossian, Adrien La Marca, Nathanaël Gouin, Emmanuel Rossfelder, and Nabil Shehata, alongside our patron Julie Depardieu and maritime writer Katell Faria.     ✈️❣️“Bach under Turbulence.” A unique ✈️❣️“Bach under Turbulence.” A unique memory among many others from the French state visit to Armenia. It was an immense honor to be invited as a member of the French delegation alongside Agnès Vahramian, Astrid Panosyan, Francis Kurkdjian, Youri Djorkaeff, Stéphane Hasbanian, Jean-Marc Samuelian, Joseph Oughourlian, to name but a few. I was particularly moved to perform in Gyumri, a city devastated by the terrible earthquake whose epicenter was in Spitak. Born twelve days after this tragedy, one that profoundly affected my family as well as the international community, I was given Spitak as my middle name by my parents. The disaster also marked an unprecedented opening of a Soviet city to international humanitarian aid. 🇫🇷✈️ « Bach sous les turbulences ». Un souvenir unique parmi tant d’autres lors du voyage d’État de la France en Arménie. Ce fut un immense honneur d’être invitée en tant que membre de la délégation française, aux côtés d’Agnès Vahramian, Astrid Panosyan, Francis Kurkdjian, Youri Djorkaeff, Stéphane Hasbanian, Missak Kéloglanian Jean-Marc Samuelian, Joseph Oughourlian, pour ne citer qu’eux. J’ai été particulièrement émue de jouer à Gyumri, ville frappée par un terrible tremblement de terre dont l’épicentre se situait à Spitak. Née douze jours après ce drame, qui bouleversa profondément ma famille ainsi que la communauté internationale, je porte en second prénom le nom de cette ville. Cette tragédie marqua également une ouverture exceptionnelle d’une ville de l’Union soviétique à l’aide humanitaire internationale.

    ⚓️❣️Over the past 10 days, I had the joy o ⚓️❣️Over the past 10 days, I had the joy of traveling through the Norwegian fjords and Scotland, invited on board thanks to the great Alain Duault, surrounded by incredible artists. I brought my grandmother Araxie with me, born in Aleppo in 1944, who lived in Beirut where my mother was born, before arriving in France in 1970 in the hold of a ship. Two generations later, having her travel by my side is a deeply moving experience, and a precious reminder of the privilege of living in peace. 🇫🇷 Ces 10 derniers jours, j’ai eu la joie de parcourir les fjords norvégiens et l’Écosse, invitée à bord par mon très cher @alainduault , entourée d’artistes incroyables. J’y ai embarqué ma grand-mère Araxie, née à Alep en 1944, passée par Beyrouth où est née ma mère, puis arrivée en France en 1970 dans les cales d’un bateau. Deux générations plus tard, la voir voyager à mes côtés est une immense émotion, et un rappel précieux du privilège de vivre en paix. @ponant @radioclassique

    💿♥️Very happy to share the release of Salut 💿♥️Very happy to share the release of Salut d’amour, recorded with my friend Nathanaël Gouin at the piano. Composed in 1888 by Edward Elgar as an engagement gift for Caroline Alice Roberts, this piece is a gentle musical declaration of love. Originally written for the violin, it also shows how beautifully the cello can express tenderness. This piece is part of a project that I look forward to sharing with you soon. 🎧 Jiri Heger 🎶 Available on all platforms. 🎥 @melkon_ajamian 💿🇫🇷 Très heureuse de partager avec vous la sortie de Salut d’amour, enregistré avec mon ami Nathanaël Gouin au piano. Composée en 1888 par Edward Elgar comme cadeau de fiançailles pour Caroline Alice Roberts, cette pièce est une délicate déclaration d’amour en musique. Initialement écrite pour le violon, elle montre aussi combien le violoncelle peut exprimer la tendresse. Celui d’un hommage à leur courage et à cette Résistance étrangère qui a choisi la France comme terre de lutte et d’espérance, en combattant pour la liberté jusqu’au sacrifice. J’avais l’honneur d’y jouer, portée par l’émotion et le poids de leur histoire. Que leur combat continue de nous rappeler l’essentiel. Ne jamais oublier. 🎶🕊️ Komitas - Grounk ✨February 21, 2024, the Pantheon ceremony for Missak and Mélinée Manouchian remains a powerful moment of remembrance. A tribute to their courage and to the foreign Resistance fighters who chose France as a land of struggle and hope, fighting for freedom at the cost of their lives. I had the honor of performing that day, carried by the emotion and the weight of their story. May their legacy continue to remind us of what truly matters. Never forget. #music #panthéon #cello
